These Hosting Terms apply to all website hosting services provided by Green Clouds . By purchasing or using our hosting services, you agree to these terms. 1. Hosting Service Green Clouds provides managed website hosting for websites we develop and, where agreed, websites built by third parties. Our hosting service may include: Secure website hosting SSL certificate (where included) Routine server maintenance Website monitoring Software updates (where applicable) Technical support The exact services included depend on your selected hosting plan. 2. Service Availability We aim to provide reliable hosting with high uptime. However, uninterrupted service cannot be guaranteed. Temporary interruptions may occur due to: Scheduled maintenance Security updates Hardware failures Internet outages Third-party provider issues Events beyond our reasonable control Where practical, planned maintenance will be performed during periods of low website activity. 3. Backups We may perform regular website backups to assist with disaster recovery. While we take reasonable steps to maintain backups, clients remain responsible for keeping copies of important website content and data. Green Clouds does not guarantee that every backup can be successfully restored. 4. Security We implement reasonable security measures to protect hosted websites. Clients are responsible for: Using strong passwords Keeping login details confidential Not sharing administrator accounts unnecessarily Promptly reporting any suspected security issue 5. Acceptable Use Hosted websites must not be used for unlawful or harmful activities, including: Distributing malware or malicious software Sending unsolicited bulk emails (spam) Hosting illegal or infringing content Attempting unauthorised access to systems or networks Activities that negatively affect server performance or other customers Green Clouds reserves the right to suspend services that breach these terms. 6. Storage and Resources Hosting plans are intended for normal business website use. Excessive use of server resources, storage, bandwidth, or processing power may require an upgrade to a more suitable hosting plan. 7. Domain Names If Green Clouds manages your domain name: The domain remains registered in the client's name wherever possible. Clients are responsible for renewal fees unless included in their plan. Failure to renew a domain may result in suspension or loss of the domain name. 8. Website Maintenance Hosting does not automatically include content changes or website redesigns unless included in your maintenance plan. Additional work may incur separate charges. 9. Suspension of Service Green Clouds may suspend hosting services if: Invoices remain unpaid. The website poses a security risk. The website breaches these Hosting Terms. Continued hosting would place our infrastructure or other customers at risk. Where possible, reasonable notice will be provided before suspension. 10. Cancellation Clients may cancel hosting by providing at least 30 days' written notice before the next billing cycle. Upon cancellation: Hosting services will cease on the agreed date. The client is responsible for arranging alternative hosting if required. Website files can be provided to the client upon request, provided all outstanding invoices have been paid. 11. Migration Clients may transfer their website to another hosting provider at any time after all outstanding invoices have been paid. Green Clouds can assist with migration where requested. Migration services may incur additional fees. 12. Limitation of Liability Green Clouds is not liable for loss resulting from: Internet outages Third-party service failures Cyber attacks Hardware failures Client errors Data loss beyond our reasonable control To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the hosting fees paid by the client for the affected service. Nothing in these terms excludes any rights provided under the Australian Consumer Law. 13. Changes to Host
